same guages & tail as the 650.
plus they both have fuel injection now.
Fuck the SV650S looks way better than the current one, other than maybe the angular frame. (But the angular frame goes well with the new tank/tail/fairing)

i'm still waffling...
i like the old fairing & frame, but like just about everything else on the '03 better...
i wonder if the new mirrors would bolt on to the old fairing... hmmm....
also note the Dunlop tires replacing the Metzelers...
I wonder if those things under the fairing are supposed to be ram air or if they're just for pose value.

my guess would be pose... current SVS has non-functional "scoops" as well.
aww fuck, can the motor just be transplanted to the old SVS body... its starting to develop a "honda-esque" look with the lights and angles.
i was thinking more along the lines of the FZ-1, actually...
but yeah. everyone's going angular these days. 999, VFR, FZ1, SV*...
I've yet to see an 03 bike that I don't like... haven't seen pics of the supposedly new Kawasaki's yet though.
If the 636 is all they're changing, that's OK but upping displacement seems like "giving up" even if it makes the bike better for the street.
