Ok I have a friend that'll help me get my satellite up n running in time for the daytona if I want. So the question is WHO would actually show up (New Bedford, Ma) if I was to set it up.. (I don't want to rush and go through the aggrevation if noone's coming I'll just go to Hooters to watch the race instead). So drop your name in here if you'll show...and we'll go from there...
Hey Hooters is fine by me also.. (no mess to clean up. lol) Hooters is either in Boston or in Warwick.... Sunday the 10th is the day I do believe and times are up to the group... live coverage begins at 1:00 I think.. you'll have to check the tvguides on that one...lol then we'll just have to get the hooter chicks to put speedvision on...:twofinger
Ok Hooters it is.. the superbike prerace starts at 12:30... the 250 gp is a bit early for hooters (10:30 I think) the superbike race starts at 1:00 so I think a noon gathering would work out well.. a few wings n beers down in time to settle into a groove for the race? So how about it? Boston? Who's up for the first NESR Hooters run?:yumyum:yumyum:yumyum
I'd be interested in going if I could meet up with someone to ride in with. I'm not that eager to ride into Boston by myself.

It's supposed to be close to 60 degrees but with Showers in the morning. If it ends up not raining much I would ride, otherwise the car sounds nice.

Hey, Do any of you like chinese food?
Leah and I found this great place in china town that has Dim Sum. basically its what the chinese eat for breakfast. there are all theses carts that come around to your table with small portions of food, if it looks good to you, you get one, they stamp your card and you pay at the end. we have been many times, it is awesome. 2 of us can eat till we are too full to eat anymore, it comes out to be around $15 total for the 2 of us for breakfast.
Well anyway, we are planning to meet you guys at hooters for noon. We are going to go to dim sum before for breakfast maybe around 9:30 - 10 am. If anyone is interested, we can meet you ahead of time.:yumyum:yumyum
Not sure yet wether we are going to ride in or take the truck, i guess it all depends on the weather.

Hey Chip, sorry. I didn't intend to interfere with your deal. I was talking to Josh and he said Hooters in Boston, then someone else said they thought it was Hooters in Fall River, so I said "Hey, I'm central to most people, just off 495 and I got speedvision and big screen tv" so I thought I would post the option.

Hey I'm flexible doesn't matter to me... I was gonna host here but no one seemed interested in traveling so I didn't rush to set up the satellite.. then the Hooters thing came up... lol... by the way the only Hooters around here is either in Warwick RI or Boston Mass

Well I never put the sat up because JC and the group seemed set on Hooters so it's either Deg's place or Hooters... doesn't matter to me..

Thanks to Beth And Derek for hosting the races at their house. The food spread was great (Real good Pizza).
Had a good time, see ya'll soon. Next time everyone can ride, myself and Sean were the only one's bold enough today. The ride there was a bit long because we choose to try the back roads which we were unfamiliar with and got a little mixed up in Providence were they dont have many signs as to what route your on? Whats up with that. Oh and a bunch of idiots were drining out there too,(No not us!!)
Other than that it was an ok ride there, the ride home on the 495 slab got to be too much with the wind so we bailed onto 140 and I led us home on some back roads.

CCCCCCCCCCold, ride home. The pizza made it worth the trip. Thanks to derek for having the event and BIG THANKS to Beth for putting up with us and feeding us.
After I split off from mike, I had some loser in a mustang that thought it would be cool to race me, I didn't know we were racing till he was right beside me and as I took the left exit off rt 9 , he was on my ass, the whole way back into marlborough.
So I passed a few cars and he backed off. :madfawk
