Hey everyone. Im new to this forum and figured I would introduce myself before asking my questions.
My name is Kasey and I am 24yrs old. I currently live in Florida with my Boyfriend and our 8 month old son. I ride [and own] and Kawasaki ZX6R [which I bought in Brockton MA] and my BF rides [and owns] a Gsxr-1000. We love riding and try and ride as much as we can. In about 11 months we will be moving and we are thinking about moving to New England. I was born and raised in Massachusetts so I am no stranger to NE. I joined the Military when I was 17 and got stationed in Florida and have been here ever since. My BF however has never been to NE [he is from Mississippi] and I keep reminding him of how great the roads are up there. He seems pretty excited about it, as am I. If any of you have ridden [or been] to Florida than you would know the roads down here suck for riding. We live right next to the beach and we can either ride west, east or north and every road is straight. Don’t even get me started on the traffic! We are so ready to get out of this place its not even funny!
Anyways I was wondering where the really good roads are. What parts of NE? Also are there any tracks close by that have track days? We have Jennings down here which is about 4hrs away. Its not that great but it’s the only one we have… and there is Barber which is 6hrs north of us….
We aren’t dead set on moving to New England. It all depends on what jobs we can find. Since riding is a major part of our lives we want to live in an area that has really great roads!

Closest track is NHMS in NH but Thunderbolt just opened in NJ and there is always VIR...
You must be in the Air Force.
Tons of good roads up this way. Us locals would be happy to show you guys when you get up here.

Yup, New Hampshire Motor Speedway is smack dab in the middle of NH. There's thousands of great roads all over New England and New Jersey Motorsports park has Lightning & Thunderbolt road courses just 6 hours from central MA.

Howd you guess?? haha. Yup Air Force. We both are. It was fun while it lasted but time to move on. [I will be in the Reserves though]
It would be great to have some people to ride with when we get up there. I bought my bike up there but got it shipped down here as soon as I bought it so I didn’t have time to ride around.
Barber is nice. We went to the AMA Races a few months back at Barber. The Museum is pretty awesome as well.
I have thought about Cali but there aren’t many job listings for what we do that are offered out there [at the moment anyways] and we want to try and stay on the East Coast because all of our families are along the East Coast.
Have you told your boyfriend how miserable New England gets when the temperature drops so low that your balls shrivel up like raisins?
p.s. - Welcome to Florida

HA ya he knows about that. I have warned him... Its alright. He's a big boy... Im sure he would be alright lol.
Welcome fellow Team Green Girl
There are so many amazing roads all over New England and a great track right in the middle. The only drawback is the shortened riding season, but I managed to get 8,000 miles in this year![]()

I would say Central/Western MA, Parts of NH, Vermont --- Route 100![]()
+1111 Western MA is so close to sooo many great roads. The Berkshires region abounds with nice curvy scenic roads. New York State is right there about 1 hour away. Vermont another hour away with GREAT roads. New Hampshire track...you can't go wrong. Just...don't...move...to...Springfield MA. You will most likely regret it. I'm in Southwick MA, there is many sportbike riders even in this small farmer town, and lakes to go boating. But there is plenty of other nice communities.
Welcome to NESR.![]()

Thanks everyone for the great roads and areas. Anyone from Southeastern MA? I grew up in Rehoboth MA [boring ass town].
Sometimes I think about how it will suck to only be able to ride out of certain months through the year but at the same time it gets sooooooo miserably hot down here in the summer that hardly anyone rides. Extreme heat + Extreme Humidity + stuck in miles of traffic = Not fun!
I bet we would ride more in the few months there is to ride up there than we have down here in a whole year! [Its pretty pitiful down here].
DBConz- Ya... sorry im taken AND im a mom haha.
Hey sorry I've been busy all day, am I late?![]()
Boston --> San Diego
Its so sad that this leg humping is no longer creative, entertaining or even slightly funny. NESR just isn't the same as it used to be, everything's changing. I'm going to go cry.
