    Waltham rider here

    Hey everyone,

I've got an SV650, and this is my second year riding. I'm still looking for some nice roads to drive on a nice loop in the area, everything is so built up! I visit friends out in New York and it seems you just pick any state highway and it'll be speed limit 55 with curve after curve.

Are there any recommended loops of 300-ish miles starting around my area?

Welcome, fellow SV rider. I am useless in navigating south of the border (i.e. Massachusetts), so I will leave my greeting at that.

I honestly can't think of any really great roads in MA, unless that is you take rt 2 FARRR west and then you'll get some nice twistys... otherwise, sorry, and welcome

Yea on a trip back from NY we hit up route 2 west of 91, that was a GREAT ride. Sadly, we were running a little low on time so we couldn't turn around and do it again

I'm also interested in any trips that don't head too far up into NH. Looking at the map there might be some nice roads that run parallel to the border up in NH but I'm not sure.

Welcome blades, I just took a nice trip up to my brothers house in Greenfield nh. I live in Boxborough, MA so I took route 111 to route 119 to 31 into nh. It was all back roads. Quite nice, weather was perfect.

Hm that sounds interesting, I'll take a look at it. If anyone sees a blue sv650 westbound on i90 in between exits 12 and 14 in the morning, give me a wave

Hi I just got a 05 SV 650 too. I'm from Waltham but the bike is stored in Quincy. Hope to see you ride around Waltham sometime.
