    Try getting one with a Cummins. Same truck is 25-30k. Used truck market is really strong (and will stay there as long as new ones stay as expensive as they are).

    To be honest with you unless you're towing I think he gets similar mileage to what I got with my diesel. Nowhere near enough of a difference to make up for the extra 7-10k.

    EDIT: I'm referring to around town mileage. Its hard to beat the diesel on longer trips.
