Bought this bike brand new at the end of March 2010, road a couple of times and then parked it til June. Have gone out on this about a dozen times since June, and the bike now has a whopping 700 miles on it. This bike rocks! Very smooth, rides like a thoroughbred and gets many looks where ever I go. Truly a wonderful bike....................................but,
I've come across an amazing real estate deal, so this and anything else that's not nailed down is up for sale. I'll have to rebuild the toy box later.
This is what I have:
2007.5 Aprilia Tuono 139R (same specs as an 08). 700 miles. As new condition (bought new in March 2010).
20 months left on full warranty and roadside assistance.
Factory tinted windscreen (short) and Puig Tall tinted windscreen.
Rear seat cowl, small passenger seat and larger passenger seat with hand holds.
Just had it's first major service (600 mile) Nothing but oil changes between now and 16k
Battery tender
Asking $8000 for everything. Also, if sold at this price, I will throw in a Pitbull rear stand (spooled/standard), Pitbull front fork stand with fork converter to lift bike from the steering stem. These are in very good condition and cost about $350 new. MSRP on a new Tuono is $12,999 with no differences from an 07.5 other than paint schemes (new one has black wheels)
Now for the soon...
The bike is so new, that I haven't received my title from the CT DMV yetThe bike is fully paid for, so once I get it the bike will be ready for sale. For now the bike is available for viewing and for test rides only (for those depositing $8k cash). Here's the first picture, have more available at your request. Thanks for looking

Mileage update: 811 miles. Bike loves the New England roads!
Title update: CT DMV states that title will be issued up to 90 days after registration (WTF). I have a call in to see if I can push this up.
If you have any questions or would like to see the bike, drop me a line...
Thanks for looking
Mike
Nice bike!![]()
Oh Ya, it is a sweeeeeeet rideI will not be dissappointed if I have to keep...although I will have to start selling body parts

Update:
Talked to CT DMV () In their opinion, they still have 60 days to issue the title, "within a reasonable amount of time."
Good thing my life doesn't depend on this!
The bike can be sold and registered in CT using a form H6b. So, if you are in CT, the bike is available RIGHT NOW
Unfortunetly for me, if you are registering outside of CT, it may be another 2 months before I get the title
Bike can be registered in CT right now, $500 off for the trouble
Bike is now $7500
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
I should have waited an hour on that last message. DMV just called and said title is processed and will be to me in 7 days. Bike is for sale Right Now to all!
$7500 price will stay for NESR members only! All who have contacted me before, the bike is ready for sale.![]()

696 views and no takersI can't be the only guy who likes Tuono's
Will entertain offers (realistic offers). If you have a cool cyclocross/road bike in excellent condition (60cm) I'll consider that as well.
Thanks for looking folks...Now someone buy my bike!![]()
hmmmm. very sexy bike... I do have a Trek Madone 5.5 in 60cm, spotless....
wouldnt be a good cyclocross frame, but for the road, it doesnt get much better! Let me know if you have any interest.
I'll have to read about the Tuono more, I have always liked them!
