So I've been toying with the idea of selling this, but I really don't want to put in much of an effort to do so. The bike is absolutely phenomenal and sorted to the Nth degree. Rob's Dyno just had it (105HP/72lbs-ft) and said "it's spot on, I never get carb'd bikes that are spot on."
Under 14,000 miles, I've done 3 oil changes this year alone (after every two track days).
I will not part it out, I will not return it to stock, I will not haggle on price. You want it or you don't. Comes with manuals, tool kit (a nice, usable one no less!), all stock parts I have (shocks, airbox, etc.) and two keys.
$5,000 and it's yours.
It's currently setup with the following:
- Fork Brace
- SS Lines and Performance Friction Brake Pads
- K&N Pod Filters
- Ivan's Performance Stage 3 Jet Kit
- "Battery Out" Airbox (massive under seat storage, a gallon of milk does fit!)
- Kerker Slip On
- Ohlins Rear Shocks, w/ Hydraulic Preload (Completely transformed the bike)
- Corbin Seat
I may be forgetting some bits, but this thing does absolutely everything well and I really don't have a need to sell it as it's 100% bought and paid for. If someone out there has a hard on for a ZRX though, you won't find a better one. It is as mint as mint can be.

I have ridden this very bike and found it to be quite impressive. Very stable entering, mid and exiting corners, good punch for getting out of the hole and of course it's comfortable.
When I went to look at Scottie's husky i this checked this thing out too. It is the sex.Very clean very nice! Scottie, GLWS.
Very pretty! If it was a 1200 (and if I had $5k) I would be all over this. Good luck!
Winter Special: Full Service / Tune-Up included! Valve check & adjustment (if needed), all fluids and filters changed, fresh spark plugs, the tires are <500 miles on them, absolutely minty minty freshy-fresh do-it-all street bike for the spring. Gotta fund my VFR400R build somehow, my loss is very much your gain. You flah-tout won't find a cleaner / smoother / more sorted Z-REX around. Do eeeeeit!
I really want to ride a ZRX sometime. If you still have it in the spring can I come by and take it for a ride? You are welcome to follow on my FZ1...
Was the ZRX more money / more wanted then the ZX?
The ZX-11 was the faired version whereas the ZRX1100 was the naked retro throwback... unless you are talking about the original which was last made in the mid-80's.
You can come take a look at it, but I'll be offering it at $4,500 to anyone on NESR interested in it who can make a deal now.

As an incentive to possible buyer. I may or may not have teabagged this bike.
