yeah thanks for the heads up. I already put it up there and craigslist. It's just kinda bad timing (nobody likes buying cars in the fall/winter). This is kind of a crappy time to sell anything but right now I have 5 vehicles so somethings gotta go and I am not getting rid of the bikes

Actually during the winter the service guys suggested running a lower octane due to the ethanol blends causing problems on cold starts.

As for the gas mileage anywhere between 20-29mpg depending on how spirited my driving is or about 310 miles on a tank

My dad owned a 03 Cooper S. He beat the crap out of it, barely took care of it (rarely did any services), and it survived all the way to 130,000mi. He crashed it.

Solid little cars, killer on back roads (and tracks) too. Good luck with the sale!

drives like on rails, most fun car on ramps by far. when in trouble - throttle out and it pulls in direction its pointed. 50k miles and 2 years old. average 32mpg, even better on hway. oh and the brakes are unbelievable

Mom is in hospice which means no more driving for her, so I am taking her car 2009 Tiguan and selling mine. otherwise I will be paying insurance on 5 vehicles (mini, tiguan, yamaha, ducati and honda) Needless to say with my *cough* stellar driving record... thats a fair amount of coin

Down the road I might unload the Tiguan for something more fun

cant tow with turbo version, there was a guy couple years ago that towed his race bike with an older version
