I'm guessing it's 10,000.00

Nice job....

That's probably about right for price. Nothing noteworthy about any 80s GM 'cept for the GN

Never heard of an IROC coming with a 305

mid-late 80s IROCs could be had with a 305 or 350.

The 305 was in the 5 speed RS.
I miss my 89 RS.
if you had the option then why would anyone pick the 305?
if its really a 305 then its either a motor swap or IROC swap

because Chevy never put a 5 speed behind the 350 cause they were too stupid to come up with a 5 speed that could handle the power of the 350 at the time. So if you really wanted the 5 speed you had no choice but the 305.
and yes the IROC came with a 305. a friend of mine has one and the 305 is original.

My 5 speed 305 was faster in the quarter than a 350 auto.
When I worked in Florida, a service manager had what I remember as the "Hurricane" edition Camaro. I have never seen another one. Am I the only one that has seen or heard of this model?
Edit I finally found it.
It was a 97 JVR 396 SS Hurricane

despite being 45 cubes down. The 305 H.O. was a stout motor. The 4bbl heads breathed pretty good. A lot better than the 350 heads of the day and if you swapped them on to your 350 it bumped the compression a wee bit. I had a killer little 305 back up motor for my racecar with the HO heads that were ummm massaged a little bit
