I did something stupid a while back. The battery on my trailer died. I needed to unhitch. So I put my impact to the electric jack to make it easy on me but forgot to set to manual. In the process I busted whatever internal gearing it has.
If you’re willing to fix it, it’s yours for free. Otherwise, it’s going to the dump Saturday. You pick it up in Marlborough MA.

Concentricity isn't a problem when doing new ops from new stock in 1 shot. Repeatability is a different story.If 2+ ops on a part (or starting w/ an existing machined part) then you're usually gonna want something better. But all depends - even with those soft jaws I still get w/in 3-thou repeatability; its why they are # matched and for some stuff that might be OK.
