I'm looking for a housemate to move in with me at my home in Maynard.
I'm 30 y/o engineer that works downtown Boston. Just looking for someone professional, clean, and respectful. As long as they are laid back we will probably get along fine.
A little about the space:
I have some space open in my house on the north side of Maynard, near the Country Club. I bought this as a new construction in 2010. Nice hardwood floors, etc. etc. Roommate would have exclusive use of the whole second floor of the place house. 2 bedrooms, one could be used as an office. 1 full bath that would be all theirs too. Plenty of closets, and the washer and dryer are on the 2nd floor as well. All told about 550 SF that they would have all to themselves. The second floor even has its own heat/AC zone!
On the first floor there would be the common area of dining room, living room, and kitchen. There's also a "common" half bath on the first floor. Also, they would be able to have a a bunch of room for storage in the basement, and room for 1 motorcycle in the garage.
There's a 3 season porch, and a driveway they would be able to use. (I'd probably park on the other side of the house near the garage most of the time.)
Looking for $1000/mo + utilities. (Electric, gas heat & HW, Verizon Fios TV & wireless Internet). VERY efficient house. The absolute *worst* the gas bill has been in the winter was $130/mo.
