Go-Ped Bigfoot and Honda Xr80R Pitbike

I got the Go-Ped in trade a while back. Never fired it up, but I've seen it go. Got disk front brake, bunch of mods to the motor and a big stinger exhaust. She folds up to fit in the trunk of a car.

Honda XR80R dirtbike

5 speed, kickstart, regular clutch.

Runs alright, little bit lean from the carb, but completely ride-able. Perfect pit bike, that's what I used it for since I got it. It's ugly. Starts in a few kicks every time, hot or cold. Usually first kick once you get the knack of how much throttle to give. Converted to a '96 engine with EFI, no points to mess with. New rear brake pads, fork seals, etc. Comes with some spare wheels and forks and stuff.

That's fine and all, but the 80 is at my house, the EX we spoke about isn't. 35 minutes away, so it's doable if you decide you want it.

Fired the XR up tonight. 4 kicks, hasn't been run in nearly 2 years. Yes, 2 year old gas. In fact, 2 year old gas that 2 years ago was old two-stroke 32:1 premix, at least 6 months old at the time.

So you could say it runs pretty good.

I ripped around on it chasing the hound for a while. On half-choke, she runs mint. Choke all the way off, gotta be a little easy on the throttle, can't whack it wide open too quick. Sounds like she's runnin lean. Either that or I don't know which way is on or off with the choke, it's just a lever on the carb.....

Probably an air leak in the carb.

She idled away happily once warm. Thump thump thump thump.
