Anyone have any heavy-duty (14awg? or thicker) 2 or 3 conductor outdoor extension cords that were sliced, so you wrapped it in tape to keep using it?
If so PM me...I want some wiring for some off-road lights, and I don't want to cut into a sealed, new extension cord to do it.
This is the weirdest request I've seen posted on this forum.
Just for the record.

go into a CVS... ask the cashier where you can find frayed extension chords, condoms, vaseline, black lipstick & a whiffle ball bat.

Things must be tuff, Home crappo has 100' cords for less than 10 bucks.
We probably have a dozen junk cords at work, though it'd probably cost you $20 to get then shipped to you..or $20 in gas for you to come pick them up...personally, I's spend 10 bux at home crappo![]()

Yeah I believe that the Home Despot also sells extension wire by the foot, for replacing a broken cord on an electric drill or whatever.
