I want to try biking next summer but I know these things get super expensive. I don't have a lot of money with all the med bills and everything else going on so I'm looking to get into it as cheap as possible.
Does anyone know of someone that has an old streetbike that they are willing to part with cheap? Need something in the 60-62" range.
I'd be interested in a decent mtn bike too if the price is right.
Bras cause cancer.
I dont know how cheap you want to go buy i have a '78 Sears free Spirit 10spd i used to commute on but upgraded to better bike for $100, but If your looking to road race you probably outa spend a few 100 and you can get a wayyyyyyyyyy lighter and better stopings 90s road bike.
Like I said they say, nothing stops a party barge.

Get an old used road bike on Freecycle, or at a yardsale for $10. I can help you tune it up to tippy top shape, I'm always happy to get someone started on the path to addiction. I started on a used bike at the ripe age of 32 and it's changed my life for the better in countless ways. 10 years later have been the best 10 years of my life, and every day I ride a new trail is the best day of my life, including yesterday...and next weekend will be even better, the weekend after that better still. Get your legs in shape on a road bike then go out in a mountain bike and exercise your soul flying through the trees and over logs rocks and streams at insane speeds with your lungs on fire and sweat in your eyes.

Ok, don't laugh but seriously you can find a decent road bike at Target.
They are NOT the lightest things on the road but they are decent. My 2 cents

someone buy my mtn bike. it's too small for Nikon though
He probably meant you need a 62cm frame. I'll keep my eyes opened for some good deals, and will check with my friends at my local shop to see if they're unloading any extra summer stock. I'm selling my crit bike and my fixed-gear, but they would both be way too small for you...
