Hmmm? I am not sure I can do two, or even 3 days in a row? I am supposed to ride Frankilin tomorrow night. + I am still recovering from last night in Franklin.

no worries. not sold on the idea myself either, may have some stuff to do. i hate riding alone with how easily a bike can go down as well.

off topic: somewhere during all the yelling over the engine noise, I tried telling you that, by law, it's ok for recreational vehicles ride across a public street (but not a highway)

According to the MA general law, chapter 90B, section 25:

After coming to a full stop a snow vehicle or a recreation vehicle may cross, as directly as possible, a public way, except a controlled access highway, provided that such crossing can be made in a safe manner and it does not interfere with the free movement of vehicular traffic. The operator of a snow vehicle or a recreation vehicle shall yield the right-of-way to all other vehicular traffic when making such crossing.

i have a new plan actually. i think i may try to street legalized the xr. i can get a kit for about $200 on ebay and throw some plates on it. riding to the destinations would sure be nice

interesting, I was planning on doing the same to the XR200R

check out the Tusk enduro lighting kit...all it does is add a switch between your regulator and headlight, but for $180 you can get all the horns/blinkers and a tail/brake light

just be careful with cost...the whole conversion process might be more than just finding a plated dual sport on craigslist...
