Central ME area dirty rider Killed

Godspeed to the dude that died up there this weekend. Apparently the guy was fully geared but didn't make it.

When I go out on the street I accept the fact I might not come home, but in the dirt that's the last thing that crosses my mind.

    Be careful out there guys!

"Post had been operating a Kawasaki 250 dirt bike on an ATV trail off Scenic Drive West in Augusta when his bike collided with a tree. He was wearing a helmet, chest protector and waist protector at the time."

RIP to him.....side note, I still wear a kidney belt. When ripping on a track my insides get sore after a while if I don't wear one.

    damn, sad to hear

friend of mine collided with his cousin in the woods off a long table. cousin had bike issues, my friend turned around to go make sure he was OK, neither knew they were bombin' at the table from opposite sides. slam in mid air. cousin died, my friend is f'd for life. major reconstructive surgeries, etc. awful. i agree, it's something you never think of in the dirt.

    kidney belt = yes.
