I admire the utility of a milk crate, but space is not in abundance in my (parents') garage. Having a box I can move around will be very useful. Guess I have a weekend project.

Anyone got an extra stand for sale? If not I'll just buy new, but surely one of you guys has one gathering dust in your garage..

I too am having trouble getting it up as I age. Seems like the answer is a lighter, newer, more exciting bike!![]()

I got the solid harbor freight stand. Its about an inch too low to be useful. Front wheel doesnt come off the ground. Womp womp
Stand on lever, grab bar and rear of subframe and lift, kinda like doing a curl. You old guys can still do at least one curl, can'tcha?![]()
I use the 350lb MX step stand and the 1,000lb MX solid stand from HF. Both work fine, the step stand feels cheap but works, the solid stand is sweet for <$30. Mind you it's a DR350 so a pretty good sized bike.
Oh, and I weight like 10lbs but still manage to get it up![]()

all stands suck...go kick stand...just use the stand for servicing and make sure you line it up properly...cuz I can get it up, but somehow I don't it right and she comes right back down all crooked

If you're too small or weak to put your bike on a stand...
I'll admit that getting the bike on the stand post-moto and with some vicious arm pump going can be challenging. If I'm really beat I just lean it up against something instead.

With dirt wheels on I basically ride onto the stand and it pops up as I use the lever to step down.
