if you ladies go to Clough on Sunday it is going to make my weekend an interesting pile of decisions that will all affect each other
Still no fuggin map.. Starting to wonder if they mailed it from New Hampshire, Africa.... Lol
I know there is a good amount stuff across the road from BK.
We have been meeting around 9:30 and riding by 10:00.
I will also have to make decisions about work or play...

i will probably go
Ya, before the sun goes down at noon
Got the map. I need to study it more but lit looks like we rode most of the good stuff. Unless there are more in maintained loops I think I'm disappointed. There is one long loop but it looks pretty basic. Still probably worth riding at some point

The stuff along the road was visible from the road as we drove in/out. It looked excessively lame. There is a dead-end loop that goes up one of the hills to the south. That can't be that bad. Although it is gonna be short.

the map is a little confusing. im trying to figure out where we went.
obviously we left the BK lounge on #7 to the pavement
took the pavement to #9
nearly certain we took #10
then #11 to #16
this is where i get a little confused. i believe the first DE on #16 is where doug got his bike running again
this would mean that the next DE at the junction of #16 and #15 would be where we all stopped. that intersection was a T though and had an option to go left. we went right. i suppose #15 could be that long rocky uphill section.
we took a right onto what i thought was #14 that took us to the power lines. according to the map though #15 crosses the power lines before it gets to #14.
i can say with almost certainty that we took #13 and #9 back though.
my guess is that we were on a trail off #15 that is either not on the map or the map isnt totally correct.
Earth view dictates that the "bridge" on #13 is where we entered the power lines and decided to to attempt the hill climb. the junction of #12,13 and 9 near the "bridge" on #13 is where we regrouped (and i ate a sandwich) after we found the dead end going down the power lines.
whats odd is the "rail trail"(#1) along the road had signs on it that said "no atv/trailbikes", which would be how to get to arrowhead (#5) from BK. maybe we need clarification from the club on that.
if we can be on #1 then we could loop from the Satterlee parking
#15 to 14 to 9 to 12 to 9 (or 11 to 10 to 9), then pavement to 7 to BK. hop across the street to #1 to 4 to 5. loop 5 back to 4 and 1. #1 cruise (possible detour up and down #2) back to N. Newport and then we can street ride the mile or 2 back to the parking lot.

I believe the trail we too to the power line is not on the map. I compared it to my GPS trace

Just ride in the middle of the pack lol
2/3 of my plate is in my camelback
OK. So who and where this weekend?
Saturday or Sunday? Might as well wash my bike again.
I'm flexible. I would like to ride Claremont form a selfish standpoint. But would rock Cough too.. It's only windshield time.
