it is a good looking bike, dying to try out a new 449 (i miss the black wheels though). finally saw one in the flesh at Wagners. much smaller than i imagined from pics.

saw a link to a VitalMX thread on CafeHusky. didn't read any other details yet but must be John's bike with the #16 and AMA stickers, right?

Cycle World reports that bike is better suited to Enduro and trail riding, rather than MX and SX. Personally, I love the way it looks. That seat is amazing. I don't know about the fuel tank location, though. CW reports that fuel cap keeps hitting you in the ass.
I am sure that JD will be no slouch on it.

yeah, all the new bikes have been doing well in off-road, getting on the podium multiple times in GNCC, WORCS, EnduroCross, etc. but the new 449/511s seem to still need development.

i dont get the gas cap and plastics in that area either. just seems like a trough to fill with mud and water.

right, maybe it's just for fun. run a few off-beat events to promote Chaplin since he's been tight with that crew for so long.

It's ok about the gas cap. That gas cap couldn't possibly be any harder than a KTM seat.

i ran out to Higgins in Barre, MA yesterday for some fuel line... they're doing the same thing, moving up the street to a brand new 34,000 sq.ft. building thats being built specifically for them.

wonder what's selling? side-by-sides, quads and cruisers?
