other than going to cycle gear in woburn any other helmet shops considered decent?
I was itchign to try Leatt helmets.. ( I wear their other gear and am happy)
My current helmet is about 8 years old... and well I need my noggin to function well.
Have to check my current helmet I think its a fox was 120? at cycle gear.
heavier than the others but no issues while riding.
Only concern i have is the goggle area to be more open / chin a little lower. Always feel like the goggle are pushed too far down for me
hmmmm......
not local to you but Motorsports Int in Auburn have a pretty good spread of dirt helmets. think they carry Bell, Fox, LS2, Alpinestars, Shoei, Arai ...
i personally have worn TLD forever and recently switched to Acerbis but i'd like to try Leatt and Alpinestars at some point as well.

Might hit auburn... a bit aways but this helmet I have is shot. Especially after I threw it at my bike in frustration in PA....( when my front brake dissapeared and my clutch wasnt grabbing ( overheated the fluid i think)

Naults in Windham NH has a decent selection of helmets
Seacoast in Derry NH does as well but not sure about 100% dirt focused lids - maybe more dual sport
Freedom Cycle in Concord NH I believe has a decent selection
Assuming you are looking for a dirt lid. I cannot confirm that any of the above have Leatt lids

At the link above it looks like Freedom does carry the Leatt helmets

hahaa, way to build confidencepretty sure they still carry, i've looked at the Bell x Fasthouse Moto-9 or 10 a few times. i stop in often for parts/fluids but maybe they only carry the Fasthouse Bell's since they are a FH gear dealer (?)
also have looked at the fancy Arai VX Pro but not sure i remember seeing last i was in.

I’m like 90% sure they carry Bell… I have a Bell Moto-9 (or is it MX-9?) and I like it quite a bit, but I kind of wish I had gone with the Shoei that I had also been considering.

Anybody else here have the top of their head go numb while riding?

I've been considering getting an open face helmet, locally, I don't usually wear a helmet, especially hot days, I was cooking on my ride back from Vermont yesterday, had to keep it at 80 to have enuf air flow

it's the best blend of price, technology (MIPS), and looks
go to cycle gear and try on each size until you find one you can wear a long time without getting "hot spots"

Been very happy with my Klim F3 Carbon. Super light (2.2lbs?), great cooling, nice padding etc. Only "negative" is that its ECE only.
