Kendas?

Well, I destroyed my front tire today. I was thinking of trying some Kendas. What would be good for the tracks around here? ... mixed surfaces with some sand.

I used to be very faithful to the old Dunlop K-490 front, but when they were discontinued, I tried a Kenda Carlsbad front and really liked it.
On the rear, I used a Kenda Trackmaster II, which wore very well and gripped good. I then tried a rear Milville and it chunked knobs badly, so it's back to the K-760. I do not recommend the K-760 front.

I'd like to know myself, I was sponsored by them for bicycle stuff and meant to try and get some mx tires but never did last year. I might end up trying them this year.

I've never run them, but my neighbor does on his bike. He rides a lot of moto-x up here in VT, the track aren't real sandy, lots of loamy stuff, but he loves the Kendas. Says they grip well and wear incredible.

My brother was running a Millville front on his KTM last year. When I asked him how he liked it he just said "Fine."
Neither of us has tried the "sticky" compounds, though.

I love the trials tire for the woods. It sticks like glue to the rocks and roots.

Washougal Sticky front, seems to work in most conditions.

I ordered up a millville rear and a millville sticky front from DennisKirk. 113 shipped. We'll see how they go.

Got my Kendas today. They look and feel top notch. I'll try to get them mounted up ASAP. I guess outdoor season is just about here!
