so the bike is pretty much ready but holy crap does the 4stroke feel weird. no hit!

so the rear tire I put on may be a bit defective. When rolling the rear tire on the stand, seems like the knobs/paddle wander off center about half way through the revolution. Rim/sprocket/chain all seem to be in line. Maybe the reason why it took 3 hours to get it on.

and f over packing; I always bring too much shit...so I'll bring said gas, gear, a triangle stand, chair, beer/water/food, craftsman toolkit, $25 gate fee, and a camera

if the Honda isn't sold by tomorrow, I'll bring that too (btw, it doesn't run)

i managed last year with my normal dirt tires. Just thought I'd try out the sand tire from Pirelli.

gas? whatever your bike burns for ~2hrs or so is prob fine although the sand + hills will require throttle

bead looks good.
Will take it for a spin up and down the road before I load it up tomorrow.
It looks like 4-5 knobs are wandering. Everyting else looks good.

thx...it's been awhile since I've ridden WOT for a solid 20 mins, but I would fill up 1-2 times riding down at Franklin, so 5 gallons (and maybe a full 2 gallons tank in advance) should do it...

and we are NOT touching the Honda! it might need the top end looked at...but to slide the cylinder head off the studs, you need to pull the engine from the frame...and the worms come exploding out of the can

I actually got a CL respondent that lives near MX338, who wants to come see it on Saturday b/w races.

Is there a parking lot outside the gate I could meet the guy?

Oh please, XRs are easy to work on. I'm much more comfortable doing back yard surgery on them than these weird two stroke thingy-ma-bobs. I'm still convinced there is a timing chain somewhere in my WR, I just haven't found it yet...

yup, there are two baseball fields (may be in use) outside and a dirt lot just inside the gate. you could prob wheel it over to where you will be paying the entrance fee when you arrive.

So... Do i need a notorised waver? If so where can i print it out? i have a notery at work. Kid and i hope to leave exeter around 5 or 6, should put us up there around dark maybe. Are we meeting up the same place as the last two years? anyone remeber if there is 110v power at the track or should I try to bring a generator.
