glad you had enjoy, Alden, was great to hang/chat with you and Evan! you did great for your first time out! told ya it'd be fun

did you do the Sunday Hangover ride?

on your springs, i know you're dialing for woods but how do your static + race sag numbers shake out? that can tell you more about the springs you need vs the Race Tech calculator which is known to be overly general ... and sometimes just flat out wrong.

Nah, I bailed on that. Track was looking a bit damp still from the night's rain, and the weather wasn't moving in the right direction. Dirt looked like it was gonna be a bit sloppy as it was, even if it didn't rain. I wasn't in a hurry to be cleaning mud off myself before a drive home. Plus I felt like I fell down some stairs.

The last time I measured, I was still in an acceptable delta. But I've made some on the fly changes and need to remeasure soon to find out where it's at.

I'm also thinking the only way to find out might be to try it. One size up from recommended, and two sizes up from a factory soft woods bike when I'm on the upper size of the weight range probably isn't crazy stiff.

yeah, try the next up stiffer, one spring rate is never a huge change if you’re on the brink.

id watch out for getting front and rear out of balance though... pairing rates is usually the way to go, e.g. .46 front, 5.6 rear, . 48 front, 5.8 rear ... but i’m in Beta-land so... grain of salt
