This is just a quick Save the Date note to let everyone know that the 2012 Stimilon Motocross Challenge will return to MX 338 in Southwick, MA May 25-27. Riding, Parties and Friendship on a whole new level. We have a bunch of new things for 2012 - so stay tuned...

We plan to have registration open in January 2012.

My 150 is set up for a 12 yr old boy. Lol. My 190lb fat ass doesn't jive well with the suspension.

After my discovering this summer that I absolutely suck at riding in sand I may have to reconsider my desire to ride a Stimilon event (unless it is someplace other than Southwick). Guess I'll have to make a decision closer to the event.

Yeah, but at Stimilon you can suck along with the rest of us losers. It's the group suck that makes it fun!

Actually, Joel, despite the sand, Southwick is a track not to be missed. You''ll get better at it with each lap. Sand is kinda like rain on a roadcourse. It exposes fundamental errors in your riding. As you improve in the sand, all of your other riding will improve with it.

AND, we all have some pretty big laughs over it all. You won't be the only one struggling.

From pros to never evers. Stimilon has it all, except kids! It is the perfect event for hacks of all (adult) ages...

This exposure of my fundamental riding flaws is what bothers me. It has taken me a while to think that I am remotely proficient ( by no means good )at riding a dirtbike and I wouldn't want to lose what little confidence I have gained purely for the entertainment of others......................

Ok well maybe I would if it involved some good laughs along the way!
