Are you serious about not coming back? Slippery wet pavement qualifies as a reason. That spot is notorious and is something we always point out on a rainy day.
Just for the record....(for those contemplating trackdays.)
Many of the crashes and almost all the many-turn crashes reported here are associated with racing and not trackdays

As shown by this thread, crashes easily happen. I wouldnt take a streetbike back. Its just too pricey if you go down and its too easy to go down. I was looking into bringing my supermoto up, because I dont care if I lay it down, but it just doesnt have the top end. Ill stick to my car. So yeah, I guess Im serious, I didnt really enjoy the experience much at all.
Maybe Im just being a cry baby. It rained all day, and it was my first crash.
5....it sucked!
you're letting one bad experience get you down. give it another shot before you totally write it off. all of my crashes were at track days not races. never once has the thought of giving up crossed my mind. I bet most in here would say the same thing despite broken bones, concussions, scrapes, bruises, etc.

There are plenty of people who never crash at a trackday. They just aren't represented in this thread. In my nearly 100 trackdays, I have fallen once.
Anyway, xrocket ithink it would be worth another try. It's not as easy to crash in the dry. Not by a long margin.
Slow high side at 3. I was following too close to the rider in front of me and when the person in front of me surprised me by braking in turn, I locked the front and went over into the tires. Not a bad crash but still...my own mistake.
Low side at 6.
First run in the afternoon session and did not allow my tires to get up to temp.
