Fast as a Sunday morning shit, range of a lazy dog on a hot summer day.
Why bother bringing these to market?
Absolutely trash.

Terrible range but Harley just did the same type of set up for the second gen livewire. Smaller batteries to keep weight and costs down. I think the new livewire can go about 80 miles versus like 150 for the last one. It costs way less and is over 100lbs lighter too.
Still not even remotely considering buying one but looks like price reduction is the game now, not range.
6hp?
C'mon. At least the Livewire has some balls.

That is a scooter with a sport bike costume on, nothing more.

I think y'all are undervaluing the wins of getting Kawi streetbike engineering all around the (agreed, underwhelming) powertrain.

You guys must not live in the city, which is what I imagine the target consumer is. Like mentioned above, similar to a scooter but looks like a motorcycle.
I could see having one to satisfy my ~15mile roundtrip commute and daily errands... but it seems my Z125 accomplishes the same thing at a significantly cheaper price point and arguably more enjoyment.
baby steps, at least a mainstream manufacturer actually has something on the market, limited uses that it has, the next one by another manufacturer will have to be better, faster, more range
hopefully they will all agree on a universal battery pack

ya, my K-pipe in original form top speed 55 (63 down an 18% grade) range anywhere from 80 to 150 with it's 1.1gal tank for $2200. However since frying the stock 125cc and replacing with a 190cc, the economy is not so good, anywhere from 45 miles to an empty tank, to maybe 80 miles of range. But a hellava lot more fun, top speed 70+ (I'm scared to go faster and it wants to)
Actually, an electric ninja would work for most of my transportation needs, even living in a rural area that I do, the post office, bank, drugstore, most of my doctors, Stoneman's, my weed connection in Maine are all within range, only grocery shopping (withing range but not enuf cargo space) and a twice a year doc appointment in portsmouth, that would be right at the edge of range, plugged in even a few minutes while at the doctor's would make it feasible.

As people who already ride motorcycles, arguably none of us is in the target market for these.

While these likely aren't for folks like us, I do hope they encourage more people to ride. Scooters, ebikes, emotos, etc -- I'm all for more people on 2 wheels and would think it's in our best interest as enthusiasts to encourage it too.
There's probably some people out there that would like the ease of use of a scooter but hate the look of them. These at least look like the real deal. Maybe they fail miserably, but at least they're trying and maybe it leads to something great for us in the future. I think we should be excited for any innovation and embrace new ideas in this industry. Just look at Harley, they made a damn good ADV and who would have predicted that??
