I wanted to, I really did. But the Tiger isn't sorted as well as I'd like and I wasn't looking to throw another 2,800 into the deal.

    Dan,

    Thanks for the generous offer.

This is my 4th VFR (2 5gen, 2 6gen) I've been through sargent, corbin, gen mar, helibar. and ended up perfrectly happy with stock on my '06 pearl black.

What I found is that if I'm in reasonable condition, especially core fitness, the bike is very comfortable as is.

Now, at 51, the real problem is staying in riding shape.

The only shape my Rocket Touring demanded was the shape that stopping for donuts creates.

She is a beauty! (I am biased). What's on the rear cowl?

It's a rack for a top case that moves it forward over the rear axle. From vfrdiscussion.com if your interested

I sat at one at one of my dealers. Tall, but narrow. Great seat. Motor was a very quick revv'er. $16K? OUCH.

Myself new bike shopping for a few weeks. I have no idea what I want. Though I keep leaning towards Victory just for something totally different.

I was thinking of your old Connie today as I test rode my VFR with a big Givi top case.

It's in the VFR commuter thread.

My memory was McD's in Sturbridge...

    Bags on = touring mode

    bags off = sportbike mode.
