    Take serious note of the ports! This is done for higher velocity AND kept rough for more turbulent air (yes turbulence is good in the chamber)......2 things that create much more hp. The D shape has benefits! Fortunately this trick is not limited to new factory production bikes of racers....epoxy porting accomplishes the same effect and at a fraction of the cost.

    Hmmmm...and to think people used to tell me that what I was doing was wrong...Chevy heads were commonly "D" ported..
