Wayne, I'd ask the local guys who do hot-rods and restoration. Actually, a Hardley-Ableson shop MAY be useful for this sort of information!

Ya know Wayne, Clayton brings up an excellent point with regard to your helmet: when are you gonna get a new one?!?!?!?! One would think that a guy who is as concerned with bling and general appearance as you are, that you would have a matching helmet.

I have to guess that you want to chrome the swingarm. Did you ever think about polishing instead? It costs less, and doesn't add weight to the part in question (and it looks better than chrome in my opinion.)

Don't polish instead of chrome. Chrome is 2 seconds to clean once in a while and polish is 4 hours to clean once a week. Chrome really doesn't add that much weight. I remember chrome on the wheels is only like half a pound of added weight. I very much doubt there's a usable diffence.
