Are you talking about chrome frame sliders?

Think he's talkin about the black plastic piece that fills in the gap between the frame and the gas tank.

I've never seen any... it'd probably be a little tricky to fab those out of metal & have em plated.

Dunno if it'd look decent or not, but your best bet would probably be to paint it w/ that chrome paint

PS... folks... I have no problem giving Jim shit about his chrome... but I'm not about to give shit to a new member that just signed up & only has 3 posts that I don't know personally. I just deleted a handful of posts because I don't think that kind of bs belongs on NESR. If anyone has a problem with me deleting their post in this thread feel free to PM me and we can discuss it off board.

I'm sure you know, but I'll say it anyway; the chrome stuff you see on sportbikes is really just polished aluminum, frames, subframes, rims, etc...

So, if the panels are aluminum, buy an extra set and strip off the paint, then send it out to be chromed or polish it like the rims.

    Someone give Petey a hug.

I doubt the panels are going to be metal. I think chrome paint is probably your best bet but if you want to chrome things I'd stick with the big stuff...swingarm, wheels, chrome grips if you want em I guess. Chrome just seems like a lot of work and extra weight on the bike.
