My OEM chain lasted nearly 30,000 miles. My replacement DID lasted 17,000 miles. I'd like to get a chain that lasts as lonmg as the OEM chain. What's the best chain to get? Wish I could recall the OEM brand. This is for a 2001 ZX9R
I have had good results with
EK X Ring
Also look at countershaft sprocket where wear occurs
If you went a tooth smaller that alone would do it
Glen Beck is John the Baptist
I did a little digging and found out the OEM chain was an EK so I bought an EK X-ring.
My sprockets are stock sized.
also if you are only changing the chain you wont get the same milage out of said chain with used sprockets.![]()
When I start my KTM in the morning, rules are broken. Its inevitable...
