I have the PIAA's they were expensive , but hey I'm fool. Now I've parted with my money. I have the 100w/135W , I only use them for offroad so as to stay legal and all. They seem to be ok with my headlight assembly, But I have a friend who ran some and they melted his assembly. I also ran a halogen tail light and it melted the ground solder off the bulb socket.Originally posted by bigred875

You suck at life. Why don't you quit?
My dad told me I could be anything I wanted when I grew up. So I became an Asshole.
Here is the fix for the headlight issue.go on Ebay and buy a set of real HID's they come with all you need for that bright 2006 high end car look.and trust me they work my bike headlight now looks unreal they seem like my hihbeams are on all the time,No more I did not see you shit... I just put a set in gixxer1K .here is the Ebay Item number 240000068762 as they say you have to pay to play.
do what these guys say and stick to the stock wattage. I bought my bike used and the guy before me had higher wattage bulbs. It melted the wires and the housing.![]()
Nah, I double checked with alot of other FZR owners, 55w bulbs run just fine. Hell, I even looked, and my car runs a smaller gauge wire than my bike does! I've been running the higher wattage bulbs for probably 400 miles, and no problems at all.
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.
