    huh huh i got it!!

Looks Like we are VERY LOYAL to Yamaha, Huh???
Well, I was too Owned a total of 5 Yamahas, and raced several.

One Question, Have you ever ridden a Gixxer 1000 yet?
You'll never go back to an R1 again! LOL!

The TLR is/will be a classic, it's not what it is, it's what it can be. This is why I like it. Ducs are Ducs, and RC51's are OK, but the Tiller has Spirit, where the others do not.

BTW, if I get another stablemate to the Tiller, it will be a Gixxer 1000! Incredible Machine!

I'm with you there. My TLS isn't the fastest or most comfortable bike I've owned, but its the most fun.....

I dunno, I think I'd like to try out one of the new KTM's thats commin out, 950cc 75 twin, even lighter and more compact than the TL, put that in a duke, the 640cc single only weighs about 310, I think the LC8 version is spose to weigh about 345

Just so happens I have ridden R1's R6, F4i, interceptors 500's 750's and the 1000. I like the way the Triumph 600 handles, Don't like the new Honda 929 replacement...
Gonna get to try the new V-Strom next week!
The R1 is OK, but It doesn't compare to the Gixxer 1000 as an overall twisty blaster...
    Nice to know people huh?
Don't get me wrong..I the R1 is a great machine too, but if you need that extra 5% somewhere, the gixxer 1000 will deliver.
    I do like the new R1's silver/black...NICE!

No, i don't have a picture yet but it's a bone stock red/white bike so it's nothing out of the ordinary:cool

If i wanted a gsxr 1000, i'd go buy one but suzuki's do nothing for me. Not saying anything bad about them but they just don't get my attention, ya kinda know what i'm talkin about don't ya?:cool

    huh huh i got it!!

I'm with R7 on this... I wanted to like the Gixxer 1000 so bad... I tried so hard to like that machine, but I just didn't. The ergos were all wrong for me, seemed less confidence inspiring, and although I was waiting for massive power everywhere, it just seemed a tad faster on the top end.

So, I am picking up my silver/black R1 this week See ya at Stonerstock... WoOt!
LOL....That's why I said if you are looking for that extra 5% go with the Gixxer...

Jeff, the switch to the 00-01 tail seems to be more work than it's worth so i'll probably just leave it as is. I found out i would have to change the tank as well
    Thanks for the offer anyways:cool
