Or does the winter lay-off make it seem like your bike is real fast? I mean, towards the end of the season last season, I felt like I could've used another 20 horsepower. Now my bike feels like it's turbocharged!I don't know if it's because of the cool air or what, but the things power wheelying in 2nd, tank slappin all over the place. Maybe I don't need a ZX12?
Actually, I go through this every spring.
That's the main reason I've been riding these last couple of sunny days, because I wanted to get used to the speed again. The downside, is that my bike looks like shit because of the roads![]()

Driving a cage will make the speed on a bike that much faster. If you have ever driven a large luxury car you don't feel the speed. Drive a sports car and the same speed seems so much faster.

Yep, went through that same thing this weekend on the Mille'. It seems louder than I remember it too.
