    If you use kryptonite Locks you might want to watch this..

    AFAIK, not all locks are "pick-able" and Kryptonite did offer a replacement plan at one point... not sure if they're still doing it. I spent an hour trying to pick my disc lock before I decided not to send it back. It seems to me that any given lock usually falls into two categories... it opens in about 10 seconds or it doesn't open at all. Just to make sure I left it on my coffee table for a month and asked guests to give it a shot. Nobody was able to get it open...

    We have a kryptonite lock for the wheel...not sure if it's easy to open, never tried...

    Kryptonite offered replacements and removed all the locks from store shelves over a year ago.

    Anything you buy today is going to be fine.

    I remember going into the dealer and their kryptonite display was empty and they said they had all been recalled.
