Ill bet you $5 that the 390 isn't allowed. Would make no sense to allow it. I'd be surprised if they allow the r3.

My link was to pull in an older discussion which corroborates the "Graham said" bit. I was not trying to suggest I knew (or worse, understood) the rules. I was just trying to link in the older discussion.
My google fu is not as epic as some people's. But that's the only discussion publically posted by Graham re: the rules permitting the 390 I could find.
And quite frankly, I'm too lazy to dig up the rules and specs on this one. But it does appear that "Graham said" is accurate. Maybe everything changed 30 seconds after he posted that. I dunno.
I'm not so sure they'll be total class killers. Drag race vids of the 390 vs the 300 Ninjette show them neck and neck.
are they going to start drag racing in LRRS?
If they are neck and neck from start to top out, the effective power difference at the brochure isn't likely enough to make them a class killer. As an example look at the WR that Kurtz tried to game the class with. On paper it's lighter and has more HP. Unfortunately in a drag race vs the 300 Ninja it doesn't stand a chance, and on a 300 the front stretch is one long drag race, as is T2 to T3, and T4 to T6, T7 to T9, T10 to T11, etc.
This would be fun to argue about over beers. I just want to rip around on this thing. In the end I don't care if it race legal or not.
Is winter over yet?
There's no arguing. You lose.
