Post the one where Justin almost runs off the track and takes you with him.
You had some video with some hairy moments in there, didnt you?
I know a little about everything, and alot about nothing.
hehe
yea, I have some of that too
had to take the nascar oval at turn 1 three times that day. Once was my fault, I came into 1 way too hot. The other 2 times I was pushed out. I'm sure whoever was working the flags at the end of the front straight got a few good laughs at my expense.![]()
I'll try and get more videos up soon.

You should hook up w/ Ken, Tony, or one of the other instructors on a 600 & do some laps w/ them... they can probably give you some good input & things to work on & make a few improvments.
Can't wait for the 3rd. I'm gonna be hooking up w/ Ken on his MZ and we're gonna do some laps together & make some improvments on my riding... gonna be a good time
When you gonna start racing?![]()

I know I need to improve on a lot of things.
In fact, I was playing around with the shift points during the laps in the video trying some new things.
I had Tony follow me for a couple laps back in June and he gave me some invaluable advice. I used to go way wide in 10, something about that big blue wall-edge scared me. But after listening to him and understanding the proper line I'm hugging it much closer now and I think I'm getting quicker through that section.
I think you're right - I should hook up with another instructor next week. I'll make sure my name's on the list bright and early.
Granted, you only see a lap and a half in the video, but anything you can see based on that small amount, please let me know. I always welcome criticism from other riders.
edit- dunno if I'm gonna start racing. Maybe something to think about for next year... I'm going up to watch some guys from this board race on Saturday. Who knows, maybe I'll get sucked in.

Good lines except 11-11a-12, You could use a little work there. At least on the last lap you were real off. You could break about an hour later on the staight too. Looking real good coming through and out of the bowl.
Come by and introduce yourself when you get to the track.
It's all water under the bridge, and we do enter the next round-robin. Am I wrong?
naw, i can't really see anything big that you can really improve from that vid, nor am I in the position to tell you where you can improve, anyway... i was just speaking from what i remember from when I rode behind you... our lines were pretty different in some places, most notably the entrance of 9 and the section just before the front straight.... Other than that ya looked pretty good... but just about anyone can benefit from riding w/ an instructor so I figured i'd remind people of thatMost of the guys in blue group just go out there & do their own thing thinkin they're fine, but everyone can use some constructive criticizm

OG, anything specific from 9 that I should be doing differently?
my line in 11-12 is way off, you're right. I'm right on the tape at the entrance point but after that I dunno where the hell I'm going.
