2.) for something that's supposed to look like it's more aerodynamic than a plane using "aircraft grade steel", why wouldn't they cover the front wheel? I figure the rotating tire creates so much turbulence against the wind

If it comes with a tin foil hat (a good sturdy one) I'm all for it. Otherwise, it's a clean looking bike, much better than the super customs with all their teeth and shrapnel sticking out. But I'm a more function over form kind of guy, so if there's no radiowave blocking beanie with it, there's not enough function for me.

I'm with you Degs, I think it looks pretty awesome and ABSOLUTLY NOTHING like those piles of crap that Paul Jr makes.

To me it looks like a bull ready to charge and pretty bad ass.

It might not be worth the price but thats a totally different story

It's a cool custom bike. Looks like it's setup to be a drag bike not a circuit bike. Not the kind of bike you'd think of when you think of the Lotus car philosophy(light with good power/weight ratio). If I were to imagine what a Lotus motorcycle should be, I'd imagine something like an RS250 or RC390 with a turbo or something made of composites, not this big long hunk of hand formed metal. But it's still cool on it's own.

Youd never know there was a badass ktm v twin under there. Looks like it should have some sort of rotary or airplane engine.
its a beautiful bike, but I think lotus missed the mark in staying true to what everyone knows lotus to be which is a high performance machine. While it hits the high performance mark with the engine (which isnt even made by lotus) it falls short in (what I believe will be) the handling.

I didn't think lotus usually made their own engines. I thought most were transplants or variations on something that was produced by an engine company like Ford or Toyota.

I was under the impression that lotus was under the for umbrella like jag and land rover.
appears gm is the right answer there. I thought i remembered lotus using cosworth engines in F1. Sorry. Get over it.
