yea i mean, i'm not gunna say EVERYONE that has ever had a liter bike for their first ride is an idiot....but 99% of the time i'm sure its true.
my first bike was my R6...i did ok w/ it. i'm sure that can be done on an R1 as well...but theres no doubting the fact that starting small and working your way up is the intelligent way to go about it.
