Not sure if many of you have met Matt Vaughan. I don't think he's a member here, but he is a BoRn member. (his screen name is vaughan1966)

I didn't know him well. In fact, I only said a couple of passing hi's in the RSP garage during race weekends.

Well, as (bad) luck would have it, Matt's life was ended during a group ride coming down from Mt. Greylock near Pittsfield, MA Sunday, Sept 19th.

I do not know the details of the accident, just that the motorcycling community has lost yet another stand-up individual.

    RIP Matt.

Services for Matt will be held at the Funk Funeral Home in Bristol CT, from 2-5PM, Friday 9/24.

    35 Bellevue Ave
    Bristol CT 06010

The family has requested no motorcycles, please respect their wishes.

Matt was one of the nicest, most helpful, most friendly people I've had the honor of knowing.

    He is missed.

This is horrible. It has been such a bad year for the motorcycle community. Thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Fucking sucks. Heart goes out his family, to those of you who knew him and especially those who were on the ride. Hard to imagine how difficult that must be.
