Since its my first bike I was thinking something like a ninja 650, sv650sf, or Yamaha fz6r

Northwest community college hosts one at the air guard base in east granby. I forget the guys name who I took it with, but he was very helpful. Kind of a dorky old BWM riding guy. Sign up sooner rather than later. CT just recently started to require the MSF class for all new licensed riders, so it will fill up quicker than before.
