Shelves with bins full of parts and containers full of various solvents, oils, sealers, paints etc.; tool chests with lots of drawers, pegboard with tools hanging from hooks, a massive potato cannon, tires, and firewood. No art in my garage, that's a really cool picture though.

I also don't have anything on my walls but hanging bicycles and hooks to hang stuff from, but I dig that piece.

Great picture. I'm thinking of bringing the bike inside, really inside, for the winter.

Nice. What kind of size is that? Would it cover my 8x10 garage door on the back, that'd be cool.

    I don't have a garage yet

When I finally buy a house, it will have plenty of garage space, and it will include some automotive art on the walls.

Re: My first piece of garage art

I don't have anything hanging in my garage, but your post has me thinking about it now. I'd like to get some kind of lighted sign, or something. I generally like retro stuff, so maybe an old Ossa, Bultaco, or Montessa sign. I am going to have to start looking...

Not motorcycle related. Just a piece from a friend of mine. http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/marty-harris.html
She said she may snap some pix of motorcycle type stuff that may inspire her, though.

You guys may like some of the stuff in here though.

    Pegboard.

been installing them all the way around and added a 1"x4" on top to store oil, cleaners, solvents, etc.

I did the same. I also used a lot of the closet-maide stuff from home cheapo. The tracking and shelves are cheap and with a little reinforcement they hold a lot.

its a canvas print something like 3'x2', nothing huge even though im sure you could get a larger size. its going to look wicked awkward next to all the old Chevy signs.

Im going to peruse the motorcycle art link in this thread to get some more ideas. I might run it by the misses to see if she's "willing to provide me with adequate space to portray my hobby/passion", even though she'll call it "stupid motorcycle pictures ruining the living room wall"

That's funny! When you said you bought your first piece of garage art, I thought you picked up a Ducati!

One of mine. Note this is a room in my basement where I do all the work on my bikes. The garage is really only a parking spot with yard tools hanging on the walls.

Nothin on the walls of my garage except shelves of parts, chemicals, tools, etc. Pretty much the same on the floor, and even a little bit on the ceiling. In the house is a different story.
