This club is in W. Warwick,RI and it's right in Gerard's and my back yard. I have never been there before, but I have dinner all the time at a place right next to it. Very scary how quickly it went up if flames.
Had the same thought bro.
Hope everyone is OK,
Where is Gadget and double "d"?
Gman?
Everyone should check in here.

Saw the video this morning. It was the band "Great White". It looked like there was an explosion in their gear or something.... the fire started on stage.
One of the band members is missing.

I woke up to this news, probably like the rest of you. Here are a couple of links that might interest you... One contains pictures from inside the club that show how fast the thing went up, and the other is a link to the missing guitarists personal website. Both are quite sad...
I saw GW play a few years back.. They put on a great show...

86 people dead now![]()
From now on, I'm making sure I know where all exits are whenever I go to a club. What a horrible tragedy.
My shit:
2004 Yamaha FZ6 (Naked....mmmmmmm) (FOR SALE!!!! CONTACT ME FOR INFO!)
2004 Mini Cooper - Deal's Gap tested and approved
Guys on sportbikes are so hot....until they take their helmet off. Just leave the damn thing on already!
Beware the counterfeit Mini!

One of my best friends is a firefighter.. That is something that he has drilled into my head as long as I've known him ( be aware of all exits ). He will actually try to open them to make sure they are not locked.
Psychologically speaking, people are creatures of habit. They always want to exit the same door for which they arrived in. It's human nature to do that especially while panicking. Same with grabbing personal property as well... thus losing precious time to escape.
Here's another tip that is based on fact.
If you are ever unfortunate enough to be in a commercial airline crash and fortunate enough to live, climb over the seats to get to the exit. Other passengers will actually clog up the aisle getting their overhead baggage while the plane fills up with smoke.

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
95 people have been confirmed dead. It's been a sad sad day listening to the reports.

I've been there quite a few times a year or 2 ago, the place is small, low ceilings and was known locally for always having a good live band drawing big crowds.
I agree with the instink factor as everyone clearly went for the exit that they entered in, the local reports say there were over 35 bodies in a pile by the main entrance/exit.
It's a very sad day![]()
"The Doctor" from 94 HJY is said to have passed, he hosted the show. RIP
Yamaha
It is in West Wrawick (sorry if someone already stated everything. I didnt take the time to read all the posts). I grew up drinking in that place and almost went to the Great Wjhite concert for the hell of it. It is a hole in the wall place.....none of my buddies could believe that many people could have died there. Even though the capacity is listed at 300 the place is so small I cant picture 150 in there. I haven't gone down to see it yet. I'd like to make sure they arent still picking people out........and the current total of actual dead is 95!!! At 65 they thought MAYBE there would be another 10 or so.
Just found out that my brothers band was scheduled to play there next month...
Kinda scary thinking that it could have been him.....

Jim,
I heard from Racya. Sevens and himself are ok.
It was a terrible thing. From all the accounts the spread of the fire was extremely fast. Once again I hope that everyone is well.
All is well here... My thoughts go out to all who were involved...
