Hi all - anyone here ever found somone willing to re-sole road race boots? I found a guy in AUS but between shipping and costs I might as well buy a new pair. I can get a replacement sole for my Sidi's easy enough. Finding a shoe person willing to make it happen is where I'm falling short. Ive got three pairs of boots in great shape aside from the typical footpeg hole in the ball area. Thanks - Bill

There was a guy in Ct years ago who did mine, I will have to look for his card.

Not an answer to your question, but relevant- I destroyed the sole on my old boots in 2 weekends and was very confused by it. Realized it was because of the rough edge on my footpeg after a lowside. After that I always checked them after crashes and busted out the dremel when necessary.
In Laconia, this guy is good and had done race boot repair. Found him looking for leather work on my race suit. Daub’s Cobbler Shop 24 Canal Street, Laconia, NH 03246

I had these guys re-sole my Sidis. I've also had them do repairs on my work boots four or five times. Their prices have been more than fair, and I've always been happy with the work they did. Their yelp reviews kinda suck, not sure why.

I work in Fitchburg and have had them do various stitchings. I had them reupholster my seat on the race bike and the price was great and the quality of work was very good.
There main business is shoes so i wouldn’t hesitate to have them do my boots if/when needed. They have a shoe size 22 or something like that they made for a customer.

I've used The Cobbler Shop in Newton 2 times and both came out good. I bought and brought in Sidi soles, and he installed it for $75.

Hey everyone - Thanks for all the great responses, very informative. I'll try Newton first since I'm in Boston and I can get the soles on ebay, but this is all great to know. Ive got two pairs of sidi's that are in otherwise great shape.
