I’m a part time RI rider. So I feel comfortable saying this. RI riders are a bunch of fucking POSERS!!! Ok, I’ve been known to pose a few times a year. But the RI riders seem to do it all the fucking time. The majority of rides I read are lame fucking rides to beaches to POSE!!! What the fuck!!! Not to mention most of the nut bag, butt monkeys I see riding don’t wear any gear except for their tennis shoe protector. Most guys are wearing T shirts, shorts, goggles, and maybe some gay ass “Shocker” glove! (DB KROMS has a pair as a joke) and their helmet attached to the passenger seat. I can’t stand it when I see these fucktards riding down the road. Shit half of them live in the same fucking town I live in. All of these Oakland beach POSERS ride past my house on the way to show off their chrome!!! Fuck…have these mother fuckers can’t even ride worth a shit. My god damn neighbor is a good example. All these dumb fucking Guido cock smokers give the rest of the biking community a bad name! I’M FUCKING SICK OF IT!!!!!
Don't hold back anymore, tell us what you really think ............

But on a serious note, whats with the shorts this year? At least 75% of the people I see on bikes are wearing shorts. And not even counting the safety issue, how do you physically ride wearing shorts? I did it once and burned the fuck out of my legs.
Ugh, so what does that make me then? I wear my helmet, jacket, gloves, and riding shoes, and only regular jeans. I also occasionally go to certain beaches and park, so does that make me a semi-poser!?
You are not the only one who are master of the obvious. Plenty of riders in RI do not wear gear at all, and I know quite a few of them. They know the risk they take if something happens. I am sure the same can be said with the rest of the riders in the States.
Not everybody have the skill or want to really ride a bike like it should be. I sport ride 10% of my time, and hopefully with more experience take it to 25%. That is my pace and level, call me a tard, a poser or whatever, but I am only riding at my comfort level.
Who cares about posers, I mean, let the clown go if they want to show you how fast they go straight, or rev their bike as they pass your parked bike.
Well that's my $0.23.

...say what now?
I couldn't agree more, but just dont ride with those type of riders thats all, I always ride with ALL my gear boots, leather jacket, gloves and always a helmets and i have a little chrome too, I live in East providence posing seems like it started in this city, many many many posers at the local D&D most dont gear, any gear at all, glasses on the heads, the works in poser apparel you can imagine. most just want to be seen, attention whore, like little fucking high school girlsIf i ever felt like posing I will attend a posing ride, nothing wrong with it IMO.

Sometimes, but not as much as the buttnut who does burnouts at stop lights or rides the wheelie on a busy street/highway. I have no problem with people making themselves look like boners but when it potentially puts other innocents in danger I get pissy. I guess I'm getting old.

While one is entitled to his opinion, I try to remember to be tolerant of others. An old saying goes, "if you can choose to be right or choose to be kind, choose the latter." I dislike a wide group of people, but they have the same rights and privileges as I do.
The posers will ride as they deem appropriate, the "octo-moms" will reproduce as they seem fit, the fanatical pro-lifers will continue to kill doctors, and so on. As Tyler Durden said, "the trick is to let what doesn't matter truly slide."
"The strong will do what they will, and the weak shall suffer what they must."

I have a friend who is one of them. I don't really care because I get to make fun of him for overpaying for a bike I told him not to buy and looking like a jackass when he tries to give his girlfriend a ride and cant do it for shit. I then took his bike with her on it and made her scream in excitment...in a good way. They are now engaged and he shall never hear the end of it.If it bothers you, just laugh inside...its more fun!
Supa Motarded! If you see me backin it in, keep watching...Im about to crash
