    How much is the ape?

Mine is one of the best riding street bikes I've ever ridden.

It would be nice if I could find one with the forks and rear shock already sorted.
I put my S up for sale last year with a Penske 8983 and Racetech inserts and heavier springs - bike was set up for 190-250 lb rider.

I was asking what amounted to about $600 more than a stock S and had ZERO inquiries. Considering the shock units sell used for $500+ on eBay, I thought that was reasonable. Put an eBay auction on with a $4,200 price and had zero inquiries for a 2008 SV650SF with 2,700 miles on it.

So I plan to put the stock shock back in and sell it later as an accessory.

That is a long way of saying that the SV market seems to be very price conscious as opposed to value conscious. That's true for most bikes, which tend to get "defarkled" for sale.

Not pitching you on my bike, just sayin'. I was looking at a nice BMW R80 and the guy had already sold the bags - who buys a BMW without bags?

Odd. You should have had at least one inquiry. I sent an acquaintance of mine your way.
