not sure how it happenned. lost control quick..getting on the on ramp bike just slid right out at the turn point. didnt seem like i was going all that fast but did take it a bit tight..
jacket saved my arm for sure.. all torn up.
what you think maybe the ramp was just too slicked up.

Oh man. Let me know if you need any help.
was there any road mark such as big fat white arrow in the middle of the road? That's how I went down last summer.
don't remember any marks on the ramp.. it was the ramp from 140 going 24 north.
thx..degs..i pm'd ya.
Glad to hear you're ok! If it's the ramp going 140north onto 24, there's always a lot of vehicle liquid there, think it's cause cars are always going slow or stopping there, must allow more grime to build up?
Glad you are ok man.
How fast were you going? Most likely sand or oil.....
yup 140n to 24... just seemed real slick. well anyway..nice lesson take it freakin easy on the ramps for now on...again good thing for the jacket landed on the elbow and slid on lower arm armor and it shredded from wrist half way up the arm. ,,skin in tact. thx to all for the well wishes...

I lost control of my car on an off ramp in the same area few years back.
Same time of day, same time of year.
The pavement was slick with dew and oil and my Celica just started to pirouette about three times before sliding off into the grass. I was going about 35.
I'm glad to hear that you didn't get hurt badly.

glad to hear you ok, hows the bike?
Crosswalk won in a corner with me a couple weeks ago, thank god for gear and woodcraft sliders![]()
Man, those wide-stripe crosswalks up here are FREAKY! I always make sure the bike is mostly upright before I cross em, even in the dry. You can tell they suck just lookin' at em. Kinda like Cheech and Chong in "Let's Make a Dope Deal". 12 lbs of blonde Lebanese Hash. Makes your eyes red just thinkin' about it.![]()
Glad your ok, ramps are a lot of fun! And very slippery oil, piss what ever! The only thing I can tell ya is yes it happens fast, then like slow motion!

Heres a condom. I figured since youre acting like a dick, you should dress like one too.
Glad you are OK.
So many variables out there. be loose on the bars and anticipate anything. The street is a very unpredictable place!! it's almost imposible to prepare for every situation but there are things you can do to prepare for alot of them. Have you taken the MSF course or the Advanced MSF course? Being prepared and knowing how to react is more important than anything else.
Glad you are OK. Get back on and learn from it!!!

shit happens fast when u don't expect it-glad u made it ok. Probably that epoxy paint like someone said. Ever have to roll over a plastic bottle while leaning in a ramp?

Glad you're alright, its virtually impossible to dissect what happened without seeing it in action. You'll get the most out of trying to understand what YOU did wrong or what you could have done to prevent it, instead of blaming it on variables.
no cracks on plastics..which is good.
jacket ripped open..armor saved me there..not a mark on me.
