Yet another new toy

Whelp, the past 2 weeks i been buying, selling and trading toys around:o
Having no luck selling my R6 and wanting to drop the registration and insurance on it, i decided i had to make a deal somehow ASAP. My goal out of this was to pay off my R7 and have 1 less toy OK, a friend of a friend wanted my 400ex pretty bad, at first i said no, it wasn't for sale. Then i got to thinking...hmmm new Raptor I called my best friend PB up and she called her local dealer and told the sales guy what i had in mind. I wanted to even trade my R6 for a new 2002 Raptor, fair deal i think? He wanted some money for a 2002 and would even trade for an 01. I didn't want the 01 so i didn't bother bringing my R6 to the dealer and i didn't want to spend any money:cool The salesman saw that i had no bike with me when i showed up, said OK, i'll even trade for the 02:cool A week later, i show up and we make the trade. A few minor scuffs on the bodywork earn me a new free helmet as well, what, you think i didn't pick the most expensive one?
So, i had my new Raptor and the R6 was gone. All the time i was promissed a sale of the 400ex. I finally got a deposit and he is picking it up tomorrow after work All said and done, got rid of 2 toys, added one new one to the collection and the dubya will be payed off by the end of this week:cool

The quad is pretty kewl. Big liquid cooled 660cc yamaha thumper with electric start and reverse. Even an electric fan for them tight slow trails to keep it cool. Of coarse there are a few mods, some skid plates, jetkit, full Yoshimura exhaust and some airbox mods. Should be close to 50hp at the rear wheels

I ride all over, some in NH, some in Mass, some in Maine and a little in RI. Winchendon mass is my favorite spot that's somewhat close. Nothing touches the fun in off roading up in Maine tho. Where are you at? A DS650? Is that the one with the funky little front fenders on the control arms?

I'm in Abington, which is south of boston. I was out at a local dump yesterday playin in the mud, not bad for a while, but I need to find a place to open it up. The front fenders are useless, but look kinda cool. Where in NH are you ridin?

If you're south of boston, you're less than an hour from me. There are a few small pits with some trails near me but they are only fun for an hour or 2.

I'm not sure the name of the area i went to in NH but it was a OHRV designated area. It was pretty cool and you could probably have a full days worth of fun there. I think it was exit 2(?) off of 89?

I just put a full Yoshimura exhaust system on it, the thing is just silly:o and i still have to rejet it. Never thought i'd like the power of a thumper this much

It's on route 13, just after 13 goes left off of route 77. The parking area is just up past School St. (I believe) on the right, in Dunbarton. Is that the one you're talking about?
