if i was stealing bike it would be in something to hide it away.
"fuckit!"
Nah, unfortunately, we didn't get his name. He was in a ford escort or focus , I think silver or grey colored but hard to tell. About early 30's, reddish blond hair I think. Usually, the staties we get around East Taunton tend to be state gang unit guys because we are the first part of Taunton you hit from the New Bedford side and there's tons of cross-crime between the two cities. I had two shady characters approach my front door a couple of months ago and when I came out of the garage with a 4' tire iron in my hand they slowly walked back down the yard back to their car mumbling something about being lost and needing directions. HEAVY West Indian accents. Last year I was at my neighbor's house and there were two asian guys at the door and another standing in the yard. When he opened the door, they asked for convoluted directions to somewhere and then asked for some money for gas. My buddy closed the door, went inside and came out with an S&W 1911 and pointed it right in the guy's face without saying a word. They fucking ran so fast to a BRAND NEW Acura parked around the corner. They were definitely scoping out the place for a robbery. None of them asked for directions to the same place and one of them was watching through the living room window and another was watching the road from the end of the driveway.
Can I also add that I came down the offramp from rt24 onto rt140 by the Galleria Mall approaching 3 times the recommended speed limit? and the officer didn't even mention that. He had the right to stop me for that for sure. I had no idea he was behind me (unmarked and he wasn't painting radar).
Not at all! A MA EPO told me that any motor vehicle with the VIN scratched off is immediately subject to confiscation and impound, just like a gun. The officer has got to do what he's got to do. They let the courts figure it out. I am always leary of "Track Bikes" up for sale on CL with defaced or no VIN's. This applies to dirt bikes and quads as well. You just do not want to be caught riding something with no VIN.
As far as the original post goes, I would be fine with that scenario. The officer was doing a good job, he was pleasant about it, and he did not take up a lot of time. "Fishing" is part of the job...
"From the tracks on his arms, large caliber wound, proximity to a heroin market... I'd say it was a heated dispute about the symbolism of red and blue in 18th-century French romantic poetry. "John Munch"
I am pretty sure that I could get that done....
DB, what bike are you talking about?
I have to say cheers to the police officer for this one. As somebody who had a bike stolen at gun point, I have no issues with taking a few minutes out of my day or night to show I am a legal owner of a vehicle in my possesion...especially at that time of night when it is very likely a motorcycle would be stolen. Anyone that disagrees, try having a bike stolen and then get back to me.
Supa Motarded! If you see me backin it in, keep watching...Im about to crash

Yes, of course. My earlier comments already stated that.
What I was trying to do was determine whether or not you can be cited for having an unregistered bike (whose ownership is not in question) in the back of your truck, or in a properly registered trailer. The answer was, no, you would not be in violation of Chap 90 Sec 9 of the laws.
I THINK I might know who that is Degs but we will see

I agree with Randy My Dad would a went ripshit if he got pulled over for nothing. But the kids don't know any better Randy. They have been told that they need the government to protect them it's all they know. The cop was doing his job. leo's profiling people and stopping them is what the laws have got ta.
