So I bought one of those "condor-like" wheel chocks at Harbor Freight....and I am wondering how extensive the additional tie downs need to be... I had 2 straps up front on the triple, and 2 in back to keep it from walking but don't want to compress my suspension too much for the move to Cali on Wednesday.
The bike will be in the trailer for 3-4 days...
Should I just do a couple barely snug up front? What is safe but ok for my suspension on this long of a trip?
And do you think running a 190 rear tire will negatively affect the rear suspension in the trailer for a long trip? Give me worse gas mileage while hauling? Or with the uber-awesome mid corner stability help the bike corner with the trailer...
